The medical curriculum at UNIMAS requires medical students to enrol in Elective 1 (MDP20505). This course runs throughout the second year in Phase 1 (pre-clinical phase) that is spread over a period of 9-8 months. Despite its name, this is a core faculty course and not to be confused with “elective” courses offered under the university elective courses (e.g.: Human and Nutrition, MDU1103).
