This course explores the dynamic relationship between employers and employees in the workplace, focusing on how industrial harmony is maintained through legal frameworks, trade unions, and collective bargaining. Special attention is given to the Malaysian context, including the principles of tripartism, trade disputes, industrial actions, and proper disciplinary procedures. Students will gain both theoretical and practical understanding of employment laws and how they are applied to resolve conflicts and uphold fairness in the work environment.
